Monday 1 march - FRIDAY 26 March 2010

Welcome to the 5th annual Mosman Villlage Festival of Sculpture.

OPEN DAY Launch:

The Open Day for the Mosman Festival of Sculpture will be held on Saturday, 13 March from 10am to 1pm at the Mosman High School. Everyone is invited to join in this Festival celebration with music, performers, ice sculpting, stalls and the Taronga Zoomobile will be there for children of all ages!

Festival Info:

Located in the heart of one of Sydney's fashionable shopping precincts, the Mosman Village will be home to some 90 contemporary sculptures prominently displayed in selected shops during the month of March. The expansion of the Festival into Spit Junction businesses and the level of support from businesses there, will make Mosman Village and Spit Junction a 'must visit' for this free event.

With over 90 sculptures on display in shops and businesses, and with the enthusiastic support of many sponsors, such as Mosman Council, Troll Beads, Fourth Village Providores, CarbonBook, Bendigo Bank - the 2010 Festival promises to be a major community event. Mosman Daily will be promoting the Festival and its events.

The Festival highlights the co-operative spirit between the local retailers and traders, and the artists from the Sculptors Society (www.sculptorssociety.com). Put the dates for the Festival and the Open Day in your diary and join others in Mosman to view the wonderful works of many leading contemporary and traditional Australian sculptors.
